Digital Signage Displays
The AIC Smart Campus Lab Lounge features six state-of-the-art LG 55” 4K UHD signage displays.
These high-definition screens ensure crisp, vibrant visuals, delivering essential information and other interesting content in a dynamic and engaging way.
Strategic Placement for Maximum Visibility
- Four displays face Restaurant Voltti, enhancing the dining experience with images, videos, real-time updates, and news feeds, including the current weather forecast for Linnanmaa campus.
- Two displays face the university’s yard, ensuring important messages reach students and staff in outdoor areas.
- All six displays use a cloud-based digital signage platform, enabling remote content management for real-time updates.
Instructions for presenting material on the displays
- It is recommended that all materials be in 16:9 widescreen format.
- Quality:
Full HD (1080p) – 1920 × 1080 pixels or
Ultra HD (4K / 2160p) – 3840 × 2160 pixels. - Image Format:
JPG or PNG. - Video Format:
AVI, WMV, MP4, MOV, MKV, TS, TP, MPG, MPEG, or FLV. - Design:
For the design template, download and use the Campus Screen Template available in Patio (requires University of Oulu login).
- Displays are active Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM.
- Display time can be scheduled for a specific time frame.
- Maximum display time for one image is 15 seconds.
- Videos should be no longer than 3 minutes and are played without sound.
- YouTube videos must have hard-coded English subtitles to display correctly.
